1) All payments are required to be made via invoice through Artistree. This is a necessary precautionary measure to protect against fraud and potential legal issues
2) At least 50% of the initial price must be paid before work can begin. Failure to do so within 7 days will be seen as a cancellation and you will lose your commission slot. Full payment will then be required after the sketch phase is completed. Feel free to contact me for potential payment plans on orders above $100.
3) Please provide references and detailed descriptions of specific things you want drawn. This includes things like characters, poses, items, and backgrounds.
4) I retain all copyright of completed pieces. This means you cannot sell, copy or alter the commissioned piece, claim it as your own, or use it for commercial purposes, unless otherwise agreed. You allowed to use your commissioned piece for any non-commercial purposes all I ask is that you provide proper credit.
5) If you wish to order a commission for commercial use, fees and any other royalties will be agreed upon upfront. The following cases are considered commercial use: Reproducing and selling the artwork, publicly or privately, and cases where you receive profit from a medium/platform where you have posted my artwork, (eg. Patreon, YouTube, Twitch, a personal site, business cards etc). See prices for more information.
6) Your commission may be posted on social media, but you are free to request your commission stays private during your order. If you do, I will not share your piece in any way, including completed pieces, WIPs, or anything of the sort, though you will be under the same restrictions. Failure to comply will result in your request being considered null and void. Privacy requests may be subject to additional fees for large projects.
7) You are entitled to 2 major revisions during the sketching phase. Any other changes must be minimal unless a fee is paid. Color corrections will be made at the color stage free of charge, as well as minor changes missing or inaccurate elements that are my fault (e.g., I overlooked details provided in the order). I am not responsible for any unsatisfactory element of the finished design if no feedback was given to amend it.
8) You are free to request a WIP at any given time. However, requests must be reasonably spaced (one WIP every 3 days unless given to you voluntarily) to avoid harassment and interruption of workflow. Each time I send a WIP to a client, I ask the client to provide feedback to me. If no suggestions are requested the client is held responsible for dissatisfaction with incorrect details.
9) If your pieces must be finished within a certain time frame, you can request a rush order that will be subject to a rush free. Rush fees will be at least + 25% of the commission price, though fees might vary depending on the project and the timeframe provided. Estimated project start dates can be given upon request but cannot be fully guaranteed.
10) Commissions only qualify for refunds under certain circumstances. If I am unable to complete your commission for personal reasons, you will receive a full refund. Partial refunds may be issued upon cancellation based on the stage of your commission. Finished or nearly finished pieces will not qualify for refunds whatsoever.
11) You are NOT authorized to issue a chargeback for any reason. If for any reason your PayPal account malfunctions or authorizes a refund request without your knowledge, you must contact me as soon as possible in order to resolve the issue. Purposefully issuing a chargeback will result in immediate blacklisting for you as well as your email address, and anyone sharing your PayPal account, including side accounts.
12) You are not permitted under any circumstances to use any commissioned works in any block-chain related technology or to train, validate, or test any neural network or artificial intelligence. This includes non fungible tokens (NFTs), cryptocurrency, AI image generators, or future inventions in these spaces.
13) Any comments that are rude, inappropriate, inflammatory, and/or non-constructive may result in blacklisting. This includes in public comments and private message.
